The myth of storks delivering babies primarily originated in Northern and Western European folklore—most notably in Germany—as a way to explain pregnancy to children without discussing the physical realities of sex.
We had about a 6 hour drive today back into Portugal..we were looking forward to it... the people seem more relaxed....next to no car horns... not sure what it is we feel, but its different for sure...
Turns out we entered Spain from Portugal at 2:54 pm 6 days ago and entered Portugal from Spain at 2:59 pm......
Took some very very rural roads in the last part... but we made it into one of our favorite places on the trip...Vila de Nova Milfontes...we stayed here one night on the way to the Algarve and felt it changed how we wanted to travel....
..because of this place I cancelled two bookings at large bustling areas ... and changed our last days so that we could experience the calmness and beauty of this area in Portugal....
George goes with the flow, I tell him where to turn...where to drive...he's a champ... so when I do a 360 degree change in our location/direction/country...he just says....OK, tell me where... so here we get to spend our last few days in the first place that stole our hearts!!
And then we see a crazy dog...We think Baz might do this....he's on the top of a roof...checking out what's going on...
The apartment is adorable, the brown is actually cork, which is very fitting for here.
Had a great dinner in a great place!!!
Cheers
