May 24 - Sunday drive to Malaga...

Not sure which area we hear the music clear as ever till the wee hours of the morning... and this is considered one of the quieter beach towns/cities.

Just across the way is a Bar Restaurant that has a horse stable... you can hear the click click of their hoofs.

Fuengirola beach is 7 km long...from start to finish restaurants and beach chairs/umbrellas and people...

We had originally booked in to staying in Malaga downtown and then I had second thoughts....while it looks nice,  its a very busy city and glad with my choice.

After a bit of traffic backlog we found our parking spot and enjoyed a few hours in Malaga...

Lots of vendors everywhere

And then the yachts....oh my..look very closely...George is on the left...she's called Zenobia....188-foot custom superyacht...She is a highly private luxury vessel valued at approximately $40 million.

And then this one...custom superyacht with exterior nameplates and escutcheons crafted in 24-karat gold, several were covered up... but there was one...owned by a Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego... Estimated at $125 million...with annual running costs of $12 million.

Capacity: Accommodates 26 to 27 guests in 13 suites and carries a dedicated crew of 60 to 71.... now that's "pissing with the big dogs"!!!

And the biggest and most expensive for last....The Mayan Queen IV is a 305 ft luxury motor yacht valued at $175 million Euro...$280 million cdn, She is owned by the family of the late Mexican billionaire Alberto Baillères...I am sure its from selling tacos!!! It boasts an onboard swimming pool, a full wellness center, and two tender garages and a helicopter pad as well...

And my favorite place... but it was closed!!

Left the water front to check out some of the rest of Malaga.

I just love the purple trees here in Portugal and Spain

Stopped to have a beer and tapas and the couple next to us...wow...he was the tourist that gives all tourists a bad name... sooo he orders a coke... and a slice of lemon.. and she orders a beer, so lost in translation or whatever, no lemon. So he gets very angry with the waiter and he demands a lemon... and the waier again says...no lemon... and the tourist angrilly says again he wants a lemon.. and so the tourist says...well I'm not paying for that!!! So before the tourist even touches his coke the waiter grabs both drinks and says OUT and shoo's him away!!!  It was hilarious and sad and all over a lemon!!

And this car!

It's dash looked like Lego!!!

And then this happened...a rental car full of German girls heading to the airport....boom!  She tried to zag but cut the zag short...dang...minimal damage so we will see what happens..

Cheers!
